Pure Joy ships as a gift in three formats: a rolled canvas print, a stretched canvas, or a floating frame in black, walnut, gold, or silver. You can add a gift message at checkout.

The stretched canvas and the floating frames arrive ready to hang. The rolled print ships unstretched and suits someone who'd rather choose their own frame.

Each piece is made to order in the USA. Production takes 2 to 3 business days, plus 2 to 5 business days in transit within the United States. Standard US shipping is free, and you can return gifts within 30 days of delivery.

Who is in Pure Joy?

Three children, two girls and a boy, all caught mid-laugh. No narrative beyond that, and none needed. The piece exists to put unguarded Black childhood on a wall, which is still not a common thing to find in a decor shop.

Is this suitable for a child's room?

It was made with that in mind. Nurseries, bedrooms, and playrooms. It's a portrait format, so it fits the narrow wall beside a door or above a low dresser. Parents often pair it with Story Time or Black Boy Joy Reading for a small gallery of Black children.

What ages does it suit?

Anywhere from a nursery through elementary school, and plenty of adults keep it in an office. Younger children respond to the face and the color. Older ones stop noticing it, which is rather the point. It becomes ordinary, and ordinary is what representation should eventually feel like.
